I was so fortunate to work along with amazing youth in putting together a unique TEDx conference! With the help of the students from the #ARVR program from Mohawk College, we provided the audience with a ground-breaking virtual reality experience that was unique to the TEDx conference.

YWCA – Equitable Pathways to Technical Fields and Skilled Trades Funded by the Status of Women Canada, the primary goal of this project is to create equitable pathways for girls in grades 9-12 in Hamilton toward in-demand careers in technology and skilled trades. As part of the strategic implementation plan for this project, mentors are invited to share their success stories with students to effectively facilitate young women transitioning from high school into technical fields and skilled trades training and apprenticeship because YOU CAN’T BE WHAT YOU CAN’T SEE!
