I am an extrovert (Gold / Orange / Blue / Green); a very passionate individual with a strong sense of community. I am a Certified True Colors Facilitator for more than 15 years. I was initially introduced to True Colours by my oldest son. Immediately, I knew that I will become certified so that I can help others to understand the discrepancy between their intended demonstration of communication and how it is received by others. In my workshops, people have so much fun and experience so many “aha moments,” that they are not even aware of how much they share with the class in the process. As an Employment Consultant, during the initial assessment for my clients, I use all the tools I possess to help them navigate through difficult waters and be more effective at communicating when they are looking for a job, a new career, or going to school.

When I am developing any workshop, my first and foremost goal is to make it fun (as a strong ORANGE), while keeping true to the topic presented.

During this unprecedented time, media explosion has created a state of sensory and information overload. Numbers are inundating us, not to mention fake news, so I know we are all trying to escape as much as we can.

I designed this online worksop without an end date in mind. However, since we are currently in the midst of unprecedented change, my inner drive was to help others overcome this hardship. I want to position this as a communication tool, and facilitate each week’s exercise with an easy approach that makes it possible for everyone to experience and enjoy the capabilities of the mind fully. Let’s say, this is my way of making up for not having the ability to help others in person as much as I used to. And if you know me, and my BLUE traits, you can imagine how difficult that is for me!

If your strongest colour is GOLD, you love to make lists, schedules and plans! If you are not, you still have to do it, if you want to be my virtual worksop student. Creating a list, on top of keeping your focus, will keep you motivated! Take out a piece of paper, or the booklet received as a gift, if you ever attended my workshop in the past! Divide the paper in four sections, but leave a small space at the bottom. I want you to write daily: what do you value today, what make you happy or brings you joy, what are your strengths, and what do you miss the most? On the bottom of the page, if you’d like two more options, I’d like you to answer: what stresses you most, and what are your frustrations today? Please do not agonize over your choices of words! Just put them on the paper!

I promise that I will send you a weekly game, but before you find the answer and the psychological reasoning behind each game, you need to complete the assignment. You need to send me your complete list with what you have on your weekly list in all four quadrants including the additional two questions! All the exercises, personality games or online activities, have been created with a balance between science and fun! I am not a psychologist myself, but I do understand enough about human nature and communication based on my extensive experience in the field of training and education. In a true GREEN fashion, I consider myself a lifelong learner and strongly believe in developing myself continuously.

Thoreau once said:

”You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.

Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land.

There is no other land; there is no other life but this.”

Let’s get started!

Here is a link to my first book! “Walking in the desert” is a warm up exercise I use during my workshops. The book illustrates a situation possible in the real world. This exercise will help you reveal attitudes, views, beliefs and likes or dislikes. In one world, it will help you DISCOVER more about you! This scenario is an exercise involving life / professional roles and functions. Nobody wins, nobody loses, no matter how you will choose to solve the problem!

In real life, I use stuffed animals, the ones you will find on the book’s cover. If you are visual learner, you have them on the cover.

Read or listen to the story, write down the order you’d leave the animals behind, and send me the list from first to the last (the one that made it with you, out of the desert). Do not forget to include the weekly list with your values, joys, strengths and needs. Optionally, you can also jot down your stressors and frustrations!

Use “Contact Me” from my webpage to send the message:

I will send you an email with the meaning of your answers!

Looking forward to have you in my virtual class!
